The Nanjing Electric Ultra-High-Voltage Composite Bushing Project participated in the centralized groundbreaking ceremony for major projects in Nanjing.

On the morning of February 23, 2019, Nanjing Electric High-Voltage Bushing Co., Ltd. participated in the city-wide groundbreaking ceremony for major industrial projects in the first quarter, hosted by the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. The project is an advanced manufacturing initiative.
The products of this project are used to connect transformers, gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS), and indoor and outdoor equipment at ultra‑high voltage levels, making them the only critical component in China’s UHV grid that has yet to be domestically produced. The UHV composite bushing project involves a total investment of RMB 200 million, with a plant building area of approximately 15,000 square meters. It introduces world‑class, internationally leading production lines and leverages cutting‑edge technologies and processes to develop and manufacture UHV composite bushings, achieving completion and commissioning by the end of 2019. Upon reaching full production capacity, the project will have an annual output of 10,000 composite bushings, generating an annual output value of RMB 600 million and contributing RMB 80 million in profits and taxes.
