Nanjing Municipal Party Committee’s official newspaper and its integrated media outlets have published a special report on Nanjing Electric’s development of cutting-edge new products to support key projects.

On October 28 and November 3, the Zijinshan News client, under Nanjing Media Group, and the Nanjing Daily, the official newspaper of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, respectively reported on Nanjing Electric’s research and development and production of a new hollow composite insulator, as well as its support for key national projects.
On October 28, “Zijinshan News” published a report titled “Nanjing Electric Develops High-Tech Products to Support National Key Projects,” which read as follows: On that day, employees at Nanjing Electric (Group) High‑Tech Materials Co., Ltd. were working diligently to produce hollow composite insulators to meet the supporting requirements of the “Xinjiang Power Transmission” project. These hollow composite insulators are cutting‑edge products developed by Nanjing Electric using new materials and state‑of‑the‑art equipment, with a technological level that ranks among the world’s best. The products boast excellent explosion‑proof, shock‑resistant, bend‑resistant, compression‑resistant, and sealing performance, while remaining lightweight. Earlier this year, the company secured an order for the 750 kV substation integrated compositeization project at the Beisan Power Plant in Wucailwan, Xinjiang. The scope of the contract includes hollow composite insulators for circuit breakers, reactors, disconnect switches, instrument transformers, and surge arresters—products characterized by high voltage ratings, stringent technical specifications, and significant manufacturing challenges. Since the beginning of this year, the company has overcome the impact of the pandemic, meticulously coordinating product R&D, production, and delivery to ensure timely support for national key infrastructure projects.
Meanwhile, the report also included six photographs of the production site for Nanjing Electric’s hollow composite insulators.
On November 3, the Nanjing Daily featured a special report on its A3 front-page news section, headlined “Nanjing Firm Develops ‘Insulators’ to Support the ‘Xinjiang Power Transmission’ Project,” presented as a photo‑journalistic piece.
