China Southern Power Grid Ultra-High Voltage Company Issues a Letter of Commendation to Nanjing Electric.

On November 3, the China Southern Power Grid Ultra-High Voltage Transmission Company issued a letter of commendation to Nanjing Electric, praising the company for overcoming the impact of the COVID‑19 pandemic and successfully completing, with high quality, the production, supply, and on-site service tasks for the supporting products of the Wudongde UHV DC transmission project, and expressing its gratitude.
The letter of commendation states that the Udongde Hydropower Station’s Ultra-High-Voltage Multi-Terminal DC Demonstration Project for Power Transmission to Guangdong and Guangxi (hereinafter referred to as the “Kunliu‑Long DC Project”) and the Yunnan–Guizhou Interconnection Channel Project (hereinafter referred to as the “Yunnan–Guizhou Interconnection Project”) are key west‑to‑east power transmission projects in the Southern China region during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. Both projects faced extremely tight construction schedules, and the sudden outbreak of COVID‑19 posed significant challenges to their timely commissioning, making the task exceptionally demanding. As the supplier of DC glass insulators for both the Kunliu‑Long DC Project and the Yunnan–Guizhou Interconnection Project, your company, throughout the construction process—particularly during the COVID‑19 prevention and control period—demonstrated a high degree of political awareness, sense of responsibility, strategic thinking, and team spirit. You rigorously implemented the client’s requirements, meticulously planned and organized, and advanced the work in an orderly manner, ensuring the high‑quality completion of production and delivery tasks and thereby providing solid material support for the successful commissioning of the projects. On this occasion, we express our heartfelt gratitude for your company’s unwavering attention and arduous efforts, and hereby publicly commend the relevant departments and personnel who directly participated in these projects and made strenuous contributions.
