Nanjing Electric’s “Research Project on Independently Controllable Technology for Large-Scale Main Transformer Bushings” and five domestically developed replacement products (technologies) have passed the review.

2024 year 7 month 6 On the morning of [date], the China Machinery Industry Federation convened in Nanjing a review meeting to summarize the development phase of the “Research on Independently Controllable Technology for Large-Scale Main Transformer Bushings” project, jointly undertaken by China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Electric High-Voltage Bushing Co., Ltd., as well as an appraisal of the new product (technology). Nanjing Electric High-Voltage Bushing Co., Ltd. hosted the event and presented a report on the project’s development‑phase review and the appraisal of the new product (technology).

The meeting was chaired by Chen Kui of the China Machinery Industry Federation, with attendance from Academician Rao Hong, Chairman of the Steering Committee, as well as leaders and experts including Ni Dan, Director of the Science and Technology Talent Bureau of the Nanjing Economic Development Zone.

At the meeting, Chen Kui extended a warm welcome to all the experts in attendance and expressed his anticipation for this exchange and review. Following that, Hu Deliang, Chairman of Nanjing Electric Technology Group, delivered a welcoming address, provided an overview of the company, thanked the experts present for their support of Nanjing Electric, and wished the review meeting every success. Ni Dan briefly outlined the decade-long collaboration between the Economic Development Zone and Nanjing Electric, expressing his hope that Yangtze Power and Nanjing Electric will continue to scale new heights in technological innovation.

Nanjing Electric High-Voltage Bushing Company submitted a technical review report summarizing the development phase, covering project R&D, testing and verification, and prior‑art searches. The members of the review committee examined the appraisal documentation and conducted on-site random inspections. Following questioning and deliberation, they each put forward their comments. The review committee unanimously approved the report. To date, the technical development contract for the “Research on Independently Controllable Technology for Large-Scale Main Transformer Bushings,” signed between China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Electric High-Voltage Bushing Co., Ltd., has yielded phased results in the research on domestic substitution technologies for imported bushings used in large hydropower stations in the Yangtze River Basin.
