On the afternoon of January 23, the East China Headquarters of Baiyun Electric Group held its 2017 Spring Festival Gala and Awards Ceremony in the Nanjing Hall on the fifth floor of the Twin Towers at the Nanjing International Youth Conference Hotel, honoring outstanding employees and welcoming the New Year.

The special guests attending this event included: Bao Youxian, former Director of the Nanjing Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; Li Zhenchu, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the Nanjing Qilin Science and Technology Innovation Park; Yuan Changyuan, former factory director and Party secretary of the company; Hu Deliang, Chairman of Baiyun Electric Group Co., Ltd. and the company; Kong Xiangyun, Deputy General Manager of Baiyun Electric Group Co., Ltd.; Wang Gang, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Electric Porcelain Community; and Sun Yuncheng, its director. In addition, more than 220 attendees were present, including Shen Qirong, General Manager of the East China Headquarters of Baiyun Electric Group, the company’s General Manager, and Party Secretary, along with company leaders, cadres at or above the department level, and specially invited representatives.

The theme of the 2017 Spring Festival Gala and Awards Ceremony held at the East China Headquarters of Baiyun Electric Group was “Inheritance, Innovation, Development, and Sharing.” The event was co-hosted by Gao Siyuan, Zhao Penghui, Qian Wenjun, and Xiang Mengyu. With the screening of an opening retrospective video, the ceremony officially commenced. Shen Qirong and Hu Deliang delivered speeches in succession.

In his remarks, Hu Deliang emphasized that the past year was an extraordinary one, marked by record-breaking achievements in the company’s development. This year, we have even more new initiatives to launch, and our industrial park platform will continue to expand. On behalf of Baiyun Electric and Nanjing Electric, he expressed heartfelt gratitude for everyone’s hard work over the past year, wishing you all a prosperous and auspicious New Year, good health and well‑being for your families, and a happy New Year. He also extended warm greetings to your loved ones, thanking them for their unwavering support.

In his address, Shen Qirong fully commended the company’s achievements over the past year and expressed his gratitude for everyone’s concerted efforts. He urged all to “roll up their sleeves and work hard” in the new year, stay focused on our goals, unite as one, forge ahead with determination, and continue to deliver outstanding results. He also extended his warmest New Year wishes to everyone.

The conference solemnly honored the company’s outstanding teams and individuals for 2016. The Procurement and Warehousing Office of the Supply Chain Management Department, the Corporate Management and Human Resources Department, and two other functional lines were awarded the title of “Outstanding Line” for 2016; ten departments, including the Glass Assembly Business Unit, received the “Outstanding Department” award; the Glass Manufacturing Business Unit was presented with the Special Award from the Baiyun Electric East China Headquarters; the Technical Quality Inspection Office of the Glass Assembly Business Unit was recognized as an “Outstanding Team” for 2016; and ten employees, including Li Wanlong, were named “Outstanding Employees” for 2016, while another ten, including Jiang Hui, were honored as “Service Stars” for 2016. Following the awards ceremony, Yuan Mingjie, host of the “Mystery Connection” segment, took the stage and, via video and telephone links, connected live with the awardees and their families to share stories of achievement, familial bonds, and heartfelt emotion.

The cultural performance kicked off with a choral rendition of “We Are Marching on the Great Road” by the Marketing Center. Interactive activities—such as WeChat engagement, red‑envelope grabs, video screenings of New Year greetings, the distribution of Spring Festival couplets, and prize draws—were seamlessly woven throughout the program, creating a vibrant and varied experience. The Finance Department staff delivered a group dance titled “What Are You Doing?”—cool, stylish, and witty; Zhang Tao’s solo “Camel Bell” showcased remarkable vocal artistry; employees from the Yanzijiji Plant Management Committee performed a musical poetry reading, “The Tree‑Lined Avenue of the Yanzijiji Plant,” which sparked the imagination; Shi Chunliang, an employee of the Casing Company, lent his voice to a soulful solo, “New Noble Consort Drunk on Wine”; the Market Strategy Department’s small chorus, “TAKE ME HOME, COUNTRY ROADS,” evoked a distinct foreign flair; and the Glass Manufacturing Division’s skit, “Morning Meeting,” was both relatable to production realities and lively and engaging…

The gala kicked off with a children’s dance titled “Little NDUers,” performed by the employees’ children. Senior executives then took to the stage to offer toasts and deliver remarks (pictured, photo by Jiang Shui), while cultural performances unfolded throughout the dinner. A stand-up comedy sketch called “News Broadcast,” presented by staff from the Corporate Management and Human Resources Department, was delightfully witty, and a group dance titled “The Ship of the Sea Sails by the Helmsman,” performed by the Supply Chain Management Department, transported us back to those passionate, unforgettable days of yore.

Following a WeChat voting process, the Glass Manufacturing Division’s employee skit “Morning Meeting” was awarded the Best Performance Prize.

The banquet concluded as the company leadership led everyone in a rousing chorus of “Blossoming Life.”

According to reports, this year’s annual conference set new records in attendance, venue prestige, and stage production—marking the highest ever in the company’s history. Notably, it pioneered innovative elements such as WeChat-based interactive sessions, live video links, and the distribution of traditional couplets, enriching the event’s content and delivering remarkable results that earned high praise from both guests and employees.
