Two major projects of the Baiyun Electric Group were signed at the 2020 Nanjing Investment Fair.

On the afternoon of September 17, 2020, as part of the 2020 China Nanjing Autumn Economic and Trade Fair, the “Urban Transformation, Advancing with Digitalization” Zidong Summit on the Digital Economy and a signing ceremony for major projects were held in Qixia District. A number of key projects were signed on-site and will be located in Qixia. Hu, Chairman of Baiyun Electric Group and Nanjing Electric, 
De Liang and Shen Qirong, General Manager of Nanjing Electric, attended the event and each signed major project contracts with leaders from the administrative district and the economic development zone.
As the Qixia sub‑venue of the 2020 China Nanjing Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair, the event saw the signing of 53 projects with a total investment of RMB 62.85 billion, spanning such sectors as intelligent manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, scientific and technological research and development, and financial services. Among these agreements, Baiyun Electric Group’s digital factory project was located in the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone, while its Smart Electrical City project was established in Qixia District. These moves lay a crucial foundation for building a second Baiyun Electric Group in Nanjing during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and will help propel the robust development of Qixia District and the Development Zone, contributing Baiyun Electric’s substantial strength to Nanjing’s efforts to become an “innovation‑driven city and a beautiful ancient capital.”
