On May 11, 2020, Mr. Vladimir Molodtsov, Chief of Belarusian Railways, on behalf of the Belarusian railway authorities, issued a letter of gratitude to Nanjing Electric, expressing appreciation for the company’s provision of epidemic‑prevention supplies to the Belarusian Railway Administration.
The letter of gratitude states that, during this extraordinary period of epidemic prevention and control, your assistance has made an immeasurable contribution to curbing the spread of the coronavirus. In these challenging times, mutual support has strengthened our unity and resilience—both for our country and for the world at large. We are delighted that the Chinese people have successfully contained the domestic spread of the epidemic. Likewise, I pledge that Belarusian Railways stands ready at all times to extend a helping hand to our Chinese friends and partners. We hope that, together, we will achieve victory over the pandemic at the earliest possible date.
It is reported that, during the COVID‑19 pandemic in Belarus, Nanjing Electric’s foreign trade department, through its corporate clients, donated a batch of masks to the Belarusian Railway, providing timely support for the railway’s epidemic‑prevention efforts.
