Fighting the Epidemic, Showing Compassion: Nanjing Electric Power Employees Donate Over 40,000 Yuan in Charitable Contributions

To carry forward the glorious tradition of helping those in need and to contribute to the fight against the epidemic, since mid-February 2020, the East China Headquarters of Baiyun Electric Group and the Party organizations of both the Nanjing Electrical Administration and the New and Old Districts have organized activities to combat the pandemic, raise charitable donations, and show compassion. A total of 584 employees from the New and Old Districts participated, contributing a combined sum of RMB 44,788.
In the face of the sudden and severe epidemic, the company’s Party and administrative leadership promptly issued a joint appeal to all Party members, cadres, and employees, titled “Fight the Epidemic, Overcome Difficulties Together: A Call for Donations,” and organized activities to combat the pandemic, raise charitable funds, and show solidarity. Party members and cadres took the lead in making donations, while employees enthusiastically participated. With coordinated efforts across both the new and old districts, a total of 584 employees—99 of whom were Party members—contributed, raising a combined sum of RMB 44,788. Part of these funds was earmarked for the Dianci Community to support its epidemic‑prevention efforts, while the remainder was turned over to the Party Working Committee of the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Party Working Committee of the Yanzijiao Subdistrict.
