Nanjing Electric has become a director unit of the Nanjing Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Promotion Association.

On the afternoon of September 7, 2020, the inaugural meeting of the Nanjing Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Promotion Association was held at the Jiangning Convention and Exhibition Center. Zhang Jinghua, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, issued instructions; Long Xiang, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress and Head of the Municipal Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industrial Chain, attended the founding assembly and delivered a speech; and Zhao Chunsheng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, offered congratulatory remarks on behalf of the advisory team. Shen Qirong, General Manager of Baiyun Electric Group’s East China Headquarters and Nanjing Electric, also attended the event, and Nanjing Electric Technology Co., Ltd. was elected as a director unit.
To implement the requirements of the “Six Stabilities and Six Guarantees” and to promote the high-quality development of eight key industrial chains, Nanjing has adopted a distinctive “chain‑leader system,” establishing corresponding mechanisms for advancing this work. These mechanisms include the establishment of a dedicated decision‑making and advisory framework for each industrial chain. The Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Promotion Association, a supporting advisory body for the intelligent manufacturing equipment industrial chain, was officially inaugurated after two months of preparation. Composed voluntarily by enterprises, industry associations, higher education institutions, research institutes, and intermediary agencies involved in Nanjing’s intelligent manufacturing equipment sector—on the principles of equality and mutual benefit—the Association is an industry‑specific, non‑profit social organization with independent legal status. In addition, the Association has specially invited 20 experts, including six academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering—such as Shan Zhongde, Zhao Chunsheng, Zhu Meifang, and Yan Chunhua—to serve as advisors, providing high‑level think‑tank support for the Association’s activities and for the development of the intelligent manufacturing equipment industry.
