Nanjing Electric’s 750-kV Integrated Substation Composite‑Type Project Product Launches for the First Time

On June 28, 2020, Nanjing Electric delivered the first batch of products for the 750 kV substation compositeization project at the Beisan Power Plant in Wucailuan, Xinjiang.
In early 2020, Nanjing Electric secured an order for hollow composite insulators for the 750 kV substation‑level composite insulation project at the Beisan Power Plant in Wucailuan, Xinjiang. The product range includes hollow composite insulators for circuit breakers, reactors, disconnect switches, instrument transformers, and surge arresters. Deliveries are scheduled in five batches, with the first batch comprising 63 hollow composite insulators for surge arresters.
This project involves products with high voltage ratings, stringent technical requirements, and significant production challenges. Since the beginning of this year, it has also been further complicated by the sudden impact of the COVID‑19 pandemic, posing substantial difficulties in fulfilling contractual obligations. Nanjing Electric has attached great importance to the matter, overcome the pandemic’s adverse effects, and meticulously coordinated efforts across all departments. By rigorously controlling production processes and ensuring both quality and quantity, the company successfully dispatched the first batch of products to the customer on schedule, on June 28.
