The East China Headquarters Hosts the 18th Dragon Boat Race

On the morning of June 23, the 18th Dragon Boat Race of Baiyun Electric Group’s East China Headquarters and Nanjing Electric was held at Xuanwu Lake in Nanjing. More than 190 employees from 10 representative teams representing various departments and subsidiaries of the East China Headquarters took part in the competition.
The event is a 500-meter straight‑line race for 20‑person dragon boats. The preliminary round is divided into Groups A and B, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the final.
As the starting gun fired, the dragon boats shot forward like arrows. Company employees and their families cheered on the racers, while the rhythmic beats of drums, the calls of chanters, and waves of cheers rose and fell, driving the atmosphere of the race to a fever pitch…
Following the preliminary and final rounds, High-Voltage Bushing Company emerged as the first-place winner (First Prize), while the Composite Business Unit narrowly secured second place (Second Prize) by a margin of just one second. The Glass Manufacturing Business Unit and the Instrument Transformer & Power Equipment Company placed third and fourth, respectively, both receiving Third Prizes. (Chen Rong)
