Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR + AED) Training | Acting in Emergencies, Safeguarding Growth

2024 At 9:00 a.m. on June 13, the fourth CPR training event hosted by the Technology Group was held at… The event took place on the second floor of the cafeteria. It was a “Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR + AED)” training session jointly organized by the Technology Group and the Qixia District Red Cross Society, with 28 employees from the Technology Group participating.
Before the training began, Mr. Chen Xiongqing, Deputy General Manager of the Technology Group and Deputy Director of the EHS Committee, delivered the opening address. He emphasized that cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is the primary life-saving intervention for sudden cardiac arrest, and that initiating CPR within the critical four minutes following cardiac arrest represents a golden window for saving lives, buying patients precious time for treatment. With rapid societal development and growing public awareness of health, the widespread dissemination and training in first-aid skills have become increasingly vital. Today’s training event aims to equip participants with proper first-aid techniques through systematic instruction and hands-on practice, enabling them to step forward at crucial moments and provide assistance to those in need.
During the training, two instructors demonstrated the key steps of cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a manikin, covering how to assess loss of consciousness, check for spontaneous breathing and a pulse, perform chest compressions, clear airway obstructions, open the airway, and deliver rescue breaths. Following the demonstration, colleagues personally practiced essential skills such as CPR, artificial ventilation, and AED use, quickly mastering the techniques. Immersive training is both engaging and effective, further boosting everyone’s motivation.
At the conclusion of the event, the instructors conducted final assessments for each participant, and those who passed received a Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. In her closing remarks, Ms. Sun from the Red Cross emphasized: “The emergency first-aid knowledge and skills taught in this training are truly practical. We’ve already seen trainees save the lives of their family members through what they learned. I hope that, once you’ve mastered these skills, you’ll be able to help even more people.”
By participating in this comprehensive and in-depth cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training, employees have not only mastered critical life-saving skills but also strengthened their confidence and sense of responsibility when facing emergencies. Moving forward, the Technology Group will continue to organize similar initiatives, inviting more employees to take part in training sessions, thereby continuously enhancing their occupational health and safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, reducing the incidence of accidents, and bolstering the company’s reputation and corporate image.
