Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of provincial-level enterprise technology centers for 2022, and the Technology Center of Nanjing Electric High-Voltage Bushing Co., Ltd. was included. Being recognized as a provincial-level enterprise technology center is a strong endorsement of the company’s technological capabilities, a testament to its innovation and R&D prowess, and a reflection of Nanjing Electric High-Voltage Bushing Co., Ltd.’s overall strength.
In 2016, the Technology Center of Nanjing Electric High-Voltage Bushing Co., Ltd. was officially recognized by the city of Nanjing. Over the past six years, the center has achieved significant progress in technological development and innovation capacity building, R&D investment, and talent cultivation. The company consistently prioritizes technological development and innovation as the cornerstone of its growth, ensuring adequate funding for research activities and the acquisition of advanced instruments and equipment. It continues to nurture and expand a high-caliber, highly skilled research team, upgrade its scientific instrumentation, and engage experts, scholars, and professors from fields such as technology, information, and industry management as corporate advisors, thereby providing robust support for the development of cutting-edge products and technological innovation.
Over the past three years, the Technology Center has undertaken 25 R&D projects, including two collaborative projects with China Southern Power Grid and nine with State Grid Corporation of China. At present, the company employs 52 R&D personnel, accounting for 22% of the total workforce; among them, five hold master’s degrees or higher, seven are senior engineers, and ten are mid‑level engineers. Employees with bachelor’s degrees or above comprise 67% of the R&D team. Many R&D staff have led science and technology projects at or above the municipal level, demonstrating strong innovation and organizational capabilities. To date, the Technology Center has obtained more than 50 invention and utility‑model patents.
Looking ahead, Nanjing Electric High‑Voltage Bushing Company will continue to leverage the role of its corporate technology center, further refine and strengthen its R&D system, intensify the development of technologies under its own intellectual property rights, master core technologies, enhance its capacity for technological innovation, and steadily bolster its core competitiveness, thereby making new contributions to the construction of China’s next‑generation power system and the domestication of critical power‑equipment.
