Nanjing Electric High-Voltage Bushing Co., Ltd. has been recognized as a national-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche fields and demonstrating innovative strength.

Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued the “Public Notice on the List of the Fourth Batch of Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive, and Innovative ‘Little Giant’ Enterprises and the First Batch of Re‑approved ‘Little Giant’ Enterprises in Jiangsu Province,” under which Nanjing Electric High‑Voltage Bushing Co., Ltd. was listed and successfully selected.

Nanjing Electric was founded in 1936, originally as the Nanjing Electrical Porcelain Factory. The company specializes in the research and development of insulating products for the transmission and distribution sectors and, in 1958, produced China’s first oil‑paper capacitor bushing. Its flagship product is the high‑voltage bushing, a critical component of transformers, GIS switchgear, and other equipment that plays a decisive role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of power grids. In 2012, with support from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the company established what is currently the world’s largest production base for high‑voltage bushings. The company also operates the Jiangsu Provincial Ultra‑High‑Voltage Bushing Engineering Technology Research Center, the Nanjing Municipal Enterprise Technology Center, and a CNAS‑accredited laboratory.
