Nanjing Electric has been awarded the title of “Model for Technological Innovation” in Nanjing’s intelligent manufacturing equipment industry.

On the afternoon of July 1, the second plenary session of the first council of the Nanjing Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Promotion Association was held in the conference hall of the Jiangning Development Zone Big Data Center. The meeting reviewed the association’s annual work report and honored and presented a series of awards to outstanding members of the promotion association. Nanjing Electric Technology Group Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of “Model for Technological Innovation.”
Ding Xue, Deputy Director of the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Investment Promotion and Director of the Office of the Municipal Special Task Force for the Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Chain, attended the meeting and addressed the attendees. Zhang Zhisheng, Deputy District Mayor of the Jiangning District People’s Government and Secretary-General of the Nanjing Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Promotion Association, chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, Xia Zhijie, Director of the Executive Committee of the Nanjing Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Promotion Association, presented a report on the association’s activities and financial performance for 2021, while Chairman Wu Bo outlined the association’s work plan for 2022.
The conference honored a series of awards recognizing outstanding members of the Nanjing Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Promotion Association. Six enterprises and five individuals were awarded the “Service Star” prize; five enterprises received the “Excellence in Growth Model” award; seven enterprises were recognized as “Model Enterprises for Technological Innovation”; six enterprises were granted the “Industry-Specific Demonstration” award; and two enterprises were presented with the “Industry-Leading Demonstration” award. Wang Fang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nangang Co., Ltd., delivered a speech on behalf of the winning organizations.
According to reports, the intelligent manufacturing equipment industry is one of Nanjing’s eight key industrial chains that the city is prioritizing. At present, this industrial chain brings together more than 1,500 upstream and downstream enterprises, with year-on-year revenue growth exceeding 20% for two consecutive years, and its total output value surpassed RMB 100 billion last year. From January to May this year, the sector generated RMB 52.64 billion in revenue, up 13.7% year on year, providing strong momentum for the city’s high-quality economic and social development.
