Nanjing Electric Conducts a Comprehensive Safety Production Inspection of the Industrial Park

At present, we have entered the height of summer, with intense solar radiation and sustained high-temperature conditions. To effectively prevent and control heatstroke and workplace safety incidents, on the afternoon of June 30, Shen Qirong, Deputy General Manager of Baiyun Electric Group, General Manager of Nanjing Electric Technology Group, and Director of the EHS Committee, led a team to conduct a joint comprehensive inspection of workplace safety across the industrial park and issued specific requirements for safety management.
Chen Xiongqing, Zhao Yiping, Sun Yonglin, and other leaders of the EHS Committee of the technology group participated throughout the entire process. The inspection team conducted comprehensive checks on the main production areas and common spaces of the companies under the park, focusing on epidemic prevention and control, fire safety, and environmental hygiene. For any hazards or issues identified during the inspections, they issued specific requirements for corrective action.
During an inspection, Shen Qirong pointed out that the high-temperature season is a period when accidents are particularly likely to occur and tend to peak. All companies must adhere to the principle of putting people first and prioritizing the health and safety of their employees, resolutely implement the policy of “safety first, prevention foremost,” and ensure compliance with laws and regulations in corporate management. Special attention must be paid to summer labor protection and heat‑stroke prevention and cooling measures; efforts should be stepped up to disseminate knowledge on heat‑stroke prevention and first aid, thereby raising safety awareness across the board so that every employee understands and masters basic heat‑related safety guidelines. To this end, various channels—including official WeChat accounts, bulletin boards, and the company newsletter—should be fully leveraged to strengthen outreach. At the same time, contingency plans must be in place to ensure timely emergency response in the event of heat stroke or other emergencies, with first‑aid kits adequately stocked with appropriate heat‑relief medications. Furthermore, given that high temperatures can easily trigger fires, it is essential to reinforce employees’ fire‑safety awareness, enhance their ability to extinguish incipient fires, and improve their self‑rescue and evacuation skills in case of fire. All companies and functional departments are urged to strengthen internal safeguards, rigorously enforce heat‑protection protocols and scheduled inspections and maintenance for critical equipment, and thereby ensure the physical well‑being of all employees and the safety of production operations.
