Nanjing Electric Conducts a Comprehensive Pre-May Day Safety Inspection

On the morning of April 27, Nanjing Electric Technology Group conducted a comprehensive pre‑May Day safety inspection. Shen Qirong, Deputy General Manager of Baiyun Electric Group and General Manager of Nanjing Electric Group, attended the inspection and delivered a concluding address. Leaders of the technology group, including Cheng Hongliang, Chen Xiongqing, Zhao Yiping, and Sun Yonglin, participated throughout and reported on their respective units’ epidemic prevention and safety measures in preparation for the holiday.
In his concluding remarks, Shen Qirong emphasized that, while maintaining routine pandemic‑control measures, all companies must strengthen external market oversight and reinforce on‑site management. First, it is imperative to remain vigilant about red‑line safety and environmental standards, ensuring that all potential hazards are promptly identified, reported, and addressed. Second, safety protocols must be rigorously implemented; companies should conscientiously follow the directives of government authorities and enforce stringent preventive and protective measures. Enhanced communication and collaboration are also essential—inviting government agencies or third‑party organizations to the industrial park for guidance and exchanges on pandemic‑response and safety matters. Third, a commitment to continuous innovation is indispensable. As a well‑established electrical enterprise with an 86‑year history, innovation has long been the key to Nanjing Electric’s growth, strength, and sustained development. Companies should relentlessly pursue technological advancement and excellence in production, while continuously improving and upgrading workshop environments. Shen Qirong underscored that, amid mounting pressures compounded by the pandemic, we must maintain unwavering confidence, rise to the challenge, and adopt a proactive, results‑oriented work ethic. By carefully planning, advancing, and executing all tasks, prioritizing safety, and fostering development, we can continue to uphold the “Nanjing Pride” in the electrical industry.
