Recently, Nanjing Electric Insulator Co., Ltd. held a grand company-wide meeting in the second-floor conference room of the employee cafeteria at the Nanjing Electric Industrial Park. During the meeting, the company announced its new organizational structure and appointments of mid- and senior-level executives, unveiled the annual performance targets and action plans for each department, and signed contracts committing to specific business objectives. Attending the meeting were Shen Qirong, General Manager of Nanjing Electric Technology Group, along with relevant senior executives of the Group, as well as the insulation subsidiary’s top management, middle managers, and supervisors.

At the outset of the meeting, Deng Junwen, Deputy General Manager of the Technology Group, read out the organizational structure and mid-level management appointment documents for the Insulation Subsidiary. Cheng Hongliang, also Deputy General Manager of the Technology Group and General Manager of the Insulation Subsidiary, then announced the company’s appointments at the department head level. Following this, the heads of the 12 departments each presented their annual performance targets and corresponding action plans, and subsequently signed target‑setting agreements with the company.

Following the signing ceremony, Cheng Hongliang delivered a concluding address. He began by expressing his gratitude to the senior executives of the Technology Group for their attention and support, and then set forth clear expectations for all cadres of the Insulator Subsidiary, urging them to prioritize goal‑oriented accountability, rigorously implement performance evaluations, and focus intently on operational excellence in the year ahead. In alignment with the spirit of the First Quarter’s 3310 Meeting, Cheng Hongliang outlined the company’s four immediate priorities: First, remain steadfast in our original aspirations, strengthen resolve over time, and stay firmly committed to our objectives. He called on department heads to keep today’s targets firmly in mind and translate them into concrete actions, ensuring their full realization. Second, adopt a target‑driven approach, engage in comprehensive planning, and implement precise, tailored measures. For both glass and composite insulators, it is essential to analyze each issue individually, maintain a problem‑oriented mindset, and deliver targeted solutions to critical challenges. Third, break free from conventional thinking, embrace innovation, and dare to take on new challenges. Corporate growth cannot thrive without innovation; clinging to outdated practices will only lead to stagnation and missed opportunities. In the face of an evolving market environment, enhancing core competitiveness is the only viable path forward. He encouraged everyone to transcend established norms and boldly scale new heights in the industry. Fourth, increase revenue while reducing costs, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste. Finally, Cheng Hongliang urged all attendees to reject complacency and inertia, and to resist the temptation to rest on past achievements. He reminded them that diligence is rewarded, and hard work can make up for shortcomings. We must work in unison, benchmark against the best, focus on priorities with precision, roll up our sleeves and press ahead with determination, act in accordance with objective laws and scientific principles, and stay grounded and pragmatic in our efforts!
