Nanjing Electric Holds the 20th Annual Employee Dragon Boat Race

On the morning of May 30, 2021, in order to promote traditional Chinese culture and further inspire employees to unite, forge ahead, and strive for excellence, Nanjing Electric Technology Group Co., Ltd. held its 20th Dragon Boat Race at the scenic Xuanwu Lake Dragon Boat Racing Base on the eve of the Duanwu Festival. Shen Qirong, General Manager of Nanjing Electric Technology Group, delivered a speech, wishing all teams success, and together with the company’s former leaders Song Zeshi, Yuan Changyuan, and Li Zhenchu, he performed the traditional “dotting the dragon’s eyes” ceremony.
On the day of the competition, Nanjing enjoyed clear, sunny weather with a brilliantly blue sky. Eight teams—representing various units and departments across the Technology Group—were brimming with enthusiasm, while senior executives from each company were on hand to offer their support. The participants rallied their spirits, determined to deliver top performances for their respective teams. The eight teams were: the Technology Group Combined Team, Insulation Subsidiary Team One, Insulation Subsidiary Team Two, Insulation Subsidiary Team Three, Bushing Company’s Assault Team, Bushing Company’s Hope Team, High‑Tech Materials Company Team, and the New Business Company Combined Team, with approximately 155 participants taking part.
In the end, after a fiercely contested showdown, Team One from the Insulation Subsidiary took first place, while Team Two from the High‑Tech Materials Company secured second. Team Three from the Insulation Subsidiary and the Breakthrough Team from the Bushing Company both claimed third place.
