The Party General Branch of Nanjing Electric held a July 1-themed Party Day event.

7 month 1 On the Party’s birthday, the Party General Branch of Nanjing Electric Technology Group organized a visit to the Memorial Hall of the New Fourth Army Headquarters in Huanghuatang, Huai’an, bringing together the company’s outstanding Party members, exemplary Party affairs workers, members of the various Party branches, and selected Party representatives. The event was held as a themed Party Day activity, aimed at carrying forward the revolutionary spirit, strengthening Party consciousness, and inspiring a drive to forge ahead. Leaders attending included Shen Qirong, Deputy General Manager of Baiyun Electric and General Manager of the Technology Group; Deng Junwen, Secretary of the Party General Branch and Deputy General Manager; and Cheng Hongliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party General Branch and Deputy General Manager.
That afternoon, the Party members participating in the event donned the company’s summer uniforms and wore their Party badges, then boarded a company‑provided bus to head for their destination: the Memorial Hall of the New Fourth Army Headquarters in Huanghuatang, Huai’an, northern Jiangsu. Through the guide’s explanations and on‑site visits, they learned that the history of the New Fourth Army—the “Iron Army” of the revolutionary cause—is both a vivid chronicle of the People’s Army and a heroic, poignant chapter of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the struggle for national liberation. During the visit, the Party members listened attentively, observed carefully, and exchanged thoughts in hushed tones. The experience left them deeply moved and profoundly stirred, filling them with renewed reverence for the outstanding achievements of their predecessors in founding New China and inspiring them to carry forward the spirit of past generations as they forge ahead.
The exhibition hall showcases the military, political, economic, and cultural conditions during the period when the New Fourth Army headquarters was stationed at Huanghuatang. Originally known as “Huanghun Tang,” Huanghuatang was once just an obscure little village. 1943 year 1 Arrive at the beginning of the month 1945 year 2 At the end of the month, at a critical juncture when the nationwide War of Resistance Against Japan was transitioning from the stalemate phase to the counteroffensive, the New Fourth Army headquarters relocated to Huanghuatang. They waged an arduous and extraordinary struggle, repelling the Japanese and puppet forces’ “sweeps” and “pacification campaigns,” and established a base area spanning the five provinces of Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Hubei, and Henan. 8 A guerrilla base behind enemy lines drove a sharp blade into the very heart of the Japanese‑puppet regime’s controlled territory.
