Nanjing Electric has been awarded the title of Advanced Unit by the Insulator Standards Committee of the power industry.

The “2021–2022 Annual Working Conference” of the Insulator Standardization Technical Committee of the power industry, hosted by the China Electric Power Research Institute Co., Ltd., was recently held in Guangzhou. The conference recognized outstanding organizations and individuals for 2022, and Nanjing Electric was awarded the title of “2022 Advanced Unit” by the Insulator Standards Committee of the power industry.
The meeting was chaired by Wu Guangya, Secretary-General of the Insulator Standardization Technical Committee of China’s power industry. Members from numerous organizations—including the Standardization Center of the China Electricity Council, the Southern Power Grid Research Institute Co., Ltd., the Zhongneng Guoyan (Beijing) Electric Power Science Research Institute, and various manufacturers in the power sector—attended the session. Zhao Peng, President and Party Secretary of the China Electric Power Research Institute, was present and delivered a speech. Wu Guangya presented a special report on the committee’s work for the 2021–2022 period and put forward new requirements for insulator manufacturers to enhance product quality. The meeting also recognized five advanced units and ten outstanding individuals within the Insulator Standardization Technical Committee of the power industry for the year 2022.

        As the birthplace of China’s first tempered‑glass insulator and a leading enterprise in the national insulator industry, Nanjing Electric has for many years upheld independent innovation, spearheaded industry development, and actively supported the work of the Insulator Standards Committee of the power sector. Moving forward, under the guidance of the industry standards committee, the company will further strengthen its standardization efforts, foster technological progress, and elevate standardization in the insulator field to a new level, thereby making fresh contributions to the high‑quality development of the industry and to the nation’s power‑grid construction.
