Leaders from the provincial, municipal, and district science and technology associations visited Nanjing Electric for a research visit.

To support enterprises in technological innovation and promote high-quality development, on the afternoon of March 22, the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Science and Technology, the Nanjing Municipal Association for Science and Technology, and a research team from the Economic Development Zone’s Science and Technology Bureau paid a visit to Nanjing Electric Technology Group for an inspection and study tour.
A nine-member research team from the provincial, municipal, and district levels, led by Wang Xiaozhong, Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Science and Technology’s Enterprise Innovation Service Center, visited the production site of Nanjing Electric, assessed the company’s needs in technological innovation, and conducted “one-on-one” initiatives to support its development. Deng Junwen, Deputy General Manager and Party Branch Secretary of Nanjing Electric Technology Group, along with key technical leaders from various subsidiaries, attended the visit.
Led by Chief Engineer Tang Wenkai of the High-Voltage Bushing Company, the research team first toured the high-voltage bushing production line and the ultra-high-voltage testing laboratory. They gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s product manufacturing processes, testing capabilities, application areas, and technological level, and expressed strong appreciation for its innovation capacity, scale of development, and industry standing.
During the exchange, Deng Junwen outlined the development trajectories of Baiyun Electric and Nanjing Electric, highlighted the companies’ recent innovation‑driven initiatives, and described the key activities of their science and technology associations. In the open‑discussion segment, the research team provided detailed briefings on relevant policies and support measures aimed at fostering enterprise innovation, talent development, the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and the evaluation of new products. Technical leaders from each company then shared the pressing challenges and bottlenecks in their respective fields, expressing hope that the provincial, municipal, and district science and technology associations would offer guidance and assistance. The research team meticulously documented each point and pledged to provide targeted support and policy advice in the future.
In his concluding remarks, Wang Xiaozhong commended Nanjing Electric for its strong commitment to technological innovation and its spirit of dedicated research. He stated that, in response to the company’s needs for technological advancement, the provincial, municipal, and district authorities will provide ongoing support and assistance, thereby enhancing the enterprise’s capacity for technological innovation and injecting fresh momentum into its high‑quality development.
