Upon completion, the project will further strengthen Zhangjiakou City’s power supply security, help address the current imbalance between renewable energy development and grid absorption, and meet the needs of transmitting power from the Zhangbei New Energy Base as well as the growing load demand in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region.
