On January 28, the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government convened a citywide mobilization conference to promote high-quality development and strive to set an exemplary and leading example, at which they also outlined plans for launching… “Five Assessments, Five Comparisons, Five Rankings” The competition event—the “first meeting of the New Year”—sends a clear signal to the entire society: In this inaugural year of fully implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Nanjing will anchor itself to its primary tasks, strive for high quality and deliver tangible contributions, work pragmatically and diligently, and focus on solid implementation, thus ensuring a strong start and steady progress in advancing the new practice of Chinese‑style modernization in Nanjing. Representatives of the academicians of the two academies based in Nanjing, along with heads of several universities and research institutes stationed in the city, attended the event. As a representative of a key enterprise in Nanjing, Deng Junwen, Deputy General Manager and Party Branch Secretary of Nanjing Electric Technology Group, was invited to attend the conference.
Accelerating the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy has sounded the clarion call for a new era and a new journey, with innovation leading high-quality development. A high‑quality development model centered on scientific and technological innovation, external openness, and financial support is becoming increasingly clear and tangible in Nanjing.
Nanjing Electric will keep pace with emerging trends, seize the opportunities presented by the nation’s accelerated efforts to build a new‑type power system and launch a new round of ultra‑high‑voltage grid projects, and adopt a development strategy centered on large platforms, robust growth, and ambitious undertakings. Upholding a spirit of passion and innovation, the company will advance diversified development models, accelerate its corporate expansion, and strive to achieve a revenue target of RMB 10 billion during the 14th Five‑Year Plan period. At the same time, it will strengthen modern, science‑based management, elevate the Group’s subsidiaries to higher standards of lean operations, intelligent manufacturing, and green development, and expedite the transformation toward smart technologies and digitalization, using this upgrading process to drive high‑quality economic growth.
