Nanjing Electric has been named among China’s Top 500 Machinery Enterprises.

On December 21, 2022, the China Machinery Industry Enterprise Management Association held the Global and China Top 500 Machinery Enterprises Conference in Xi’an, where Nanjing Electric Technology Group Co., Ltd. was named among the China Top 500 Machinery Enterprises.
The China Top 500 Machinery Enterprises is a research report and public‑release initiative organized by the China Association for Management of Machinery Industry. Since its inaugural publication in 2003, it has been issued annually for 20 consecutive editions, establishing itself as a highly influential research and ranking event within the industry.
In recent years, under the scientific decision-making and coordinated planning of the CPC Central Committee, China’s machinery industry has made every effort to advance high-quality development. The sector has accelerated its efforts to strengthen capabilities in original innovation, integrated innovation, and cross-sectoral innovation, while promoting the transfer and commercialization of innovative成果. As a result, a number of leading enterprises with global competitiveness, single‑product champions, and “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” small giants have emerged.
Over the past 86 years since its establishment, Nanjing Electric has remained true to its original aspiration and mission of serving the nation through industry and revitalizing China’s national industrial sector. The company has focused on electrical machinery manufacturing, consistently leading the development of the industry. Closely aligned with the nation’s power‑infrastructure needs, it researches, develops, and produces high‑end equipment to support key national projects. At the same time, it has continuously strengthened modern, science‑based management, elevating its operations toward greater operational efficiency, intelligent production, and sustainable, green development. As a result, it has successfully nurtured two nationally recognized “Little Giant” enterprises specializing in niche, specialized, and innovative fields.
Looking ahead, Nanjing Electric will earnestly implement the state’s requirements to accelerate the development of world-class enterprises that are “excellent in products, renowned for their brands, leading in innovation, and modern in governance.” By focusing on four key dimensions—“first‑class performance, first‑class innovation, first‑class operations, and first‑class influence”—the company will grow stronger, bigger, and better, steadily advancing toward world‑class status.
