9 On the morning of the 29th, the general branch committee of the Communist Party of China at Nanjing Electric Technology Group Co., Ltd. held its换届 (re-election) conference in the second-floor meeting room of the park’s staff canteen. The conference elected the members of the company’s second-term Party General Branch Committee.

Sun Tao, full-time deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee and deputy director of the Organization and Personnel Department of the Party Working Committee, along with Wu Chunjun, head of the Comprehensive Service Office of the same department, attended the meeting on behalf of the higher-level Party organization and delivered remarks. Shen Qirong, vice general manager of Baiyun Electric Group and general manager of Nanjing Electric Technology Group, also attended and addressed the gathering.

On the backdrop of the presidium, the golden Party emblem gleamed brilliantly, flanked by ten red flags. The venue was suffused with an atmosphere of solemnity, sacredness, festivity, and fervor.

Deng Junwen, Deputy Secretary of the Company’s Party General Branch and Deputy General Manager, presided over the meeting. Of the 95 party members expected to attend, 83 party member representatives were present, meeting the quorum requirements for convening the meeting.

Amid the solemn strains of the National Anthem, the general election and reorganization conference of the Party General Branch of Nanjing Electric Technology Group Co., Ltd. officially commenced. The agenda was first approved. Cheng Hongliang, a member of the Party General Branch and Deputy General Manager, read out the Party General Branch’s decision to commend outstanding individuals and advanced primary-level Party organizations. Following the commendations and award presentations, Shi Yubing, Secretary of the Party General Branch and Deputy General Manager, announced the superior Party organization’s official reply regarding the reorganization and election of the Company’s Party General Branch. Deng Junwen delivered a report on the preparations for the conference. Shi Yubing then presented the work report of the Party General Branch, which was duly reviewed and adopted by the assembly. Chen Xiongqing, a member of the Party General Branch and Deputy General Manager, provided an explanation of the candidates for the second term of the Party General Branch. The conference approved the election procedures and the proposed list of chief scrutineers, scrutineers, vote counters, and tally clerks. Using secret ballot and a system of proportional representation, the conference elected the members of the Company’s second-term Party General Branch. Upon completion of the voting process, Shen Qirong and Sun Tao each delivered remarks in turn. The conference concluded with the stirring rendition of “The Internationale.”

In his address, Sun Tao, on behalf of the Organization and Personnel Department of the Party Working Committee of the Economic Development Zone, extended warm congratulations to the Nanjing Electric Power Party General Branch on the election of its new leadership team. He also put forward three recommendations for the newly elected leadership: first, to solidly strengthen the foundational work of Party building; second, to proactively leverage the guiding role of Party building; and third, to innovate and enhance the brand of Party‑building initiatives. He emphasized the importance of reinforcing Party‑building platforms, launching “Secretary‑Led Projects,” and intensifying publicity and reporting, so as to harness the power of the Party‑building brand to drive business operations and foster enterprise development. He expressed the hope that the Nanjing Electric Power Party General Branch, standing at a new starting point, will forge ahead with vigor and take proactive steps, leading all Party members and the broader workforce to contribute fresh momentum to the company’s rapid growth and to elevate the overall quality of its Party‑building efforts to a new level.

In his address, Shen Qirong, on behalf of the company’s administration, extended warm congratulations on the successful convening of the congress, warmly congratulated the newly elected members of the general Party branch committee, and expressed heartfelt commendation to the outstanding individuals and collectives honored at the event. He fully commended the work accomplished by the company’s first Party general branch over the past three years, noting that the company is currently at a critical juncture—building on past achievements while forging ahead through innovation. He urged the company’s Party organizations and all Party members to stay focused on the central tasks, serve the overall interests, and make new contributions in this new era and on this new journey. He also pledged that the company’s administration will continue to provide strong support for the Party-building efforts going forward.

According to the results of the congress election, the company’s Second Party General Branch Committee is composed of comrades Deng Junwen, Cheng Hongliang, Chen Xiongqing, Wang Dulong, and Chen Rong.
