Sun Aijun, Director of the Management Committee of the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone, paid a visit to Nanjing Electric for an on-site inspection.

On the afternoon of February 17, Sun Aijun, Director of the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee, along with Chen Chaoyi, Director of the Office, and Yang Jun, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Economic Development, paid a visit to Nanjing Electric for an inspection and research tour. Deng Junwen, Deputy General Manager of Nanjing Electric Technology Group, Hao Jingtao, Chief Financial Officer, and other company leaders accompanied the delegation and presented an overview of the enterprise’s operations.
Sun Aijun and his delegation first toured Nanjing Electric’s production lines for hollow composite insulators, high-voltage bushings, the ultra-high-voltage laboratory, and glass insulators, gaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s current industrial focus and the leading position its products hold within the industry. Sun Aijun commended the company on its high degree of specialization and cutting-edge technological capabilities. During the subsequent symposium, Deng Junwen presented a detailed report to the management committee leadership, outlining Baiyun Electric Group’s entrepreneurial origins—rooted in the principle that “to forge iron, one must first be strong oneself”—as well as its unwavering commitment to its founding principles. He also reviewed Nanjing Electric’s 86-year legacy of steady, methodical progress and outlined the company’s strategic plan for the 14th Five-Year Period.
Sun Aijun pointed out that intelligent manufacturing is the trend of the future, and several product lines of Nanjing Electric are quite high-end. He expressed the hope that the company will step up its infrastructure development and set a benchmark for digital factories. This year, the Economic Development Zone is vigorously promoting initiatives to cultivate “Top 100 Enterprises in Overall Strength” and “Ten-Billion-Yuan Projects,” which require a cohort of star enterprises. He urged Nanjing Electric to accelerate its growth, become a ten-billion-yuan enterprise at an early date, and strive to become a leading enterprise in the zone. The Economic Development Zone, for its part, will continue to provide robust support for Nanjing Electric’s development, helping the company further enhance its brand influence and core competitiveness.
Deng Junwen expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Development Zone Management Committee for their consistent care and support of Nanjing Electric. He stated that the company will remain committed to the principle of innovative development, strive to build a world-class manufacturing base and provide services for key national projects, and make even greater contributions to local economic development and social progress.
